Hello all!

E-mail

So as you have probably noticed there are no new episodes this week, and instead we are airing a 'Best of TS'.

We have been producing this show every week for 2 years straight while financing it ourselves.  Due to lack of sponsorship money we have to take a bit of a break, so for the next couple weeks we will be airing some of our favourite old TS episodes while we figure out what our next steps will be.

I appreciate everyone's constant support and viewership, you guys are the ones that have kept us going for so long and I feel so honoured to have such a loyal following who continue to watch every single week!

We are not going anywhere, I will still be checking the site and chatting with anyone on the forums, but in the meantime if you know anyone who would like this site/show please pass it along to them and help us spread the word!

Have a great holiday everyone!  I hope Santa is nice to all of you  ;)

peace

Jill

Hey Guys!

 Hope all is weelllll....

Gearing up for Hallowe'en here and trying to think of the perfect costume! Was going to go as Amy Winehouse but if I dye my hair black with the spray it says it won't come out, so now I might go as Pipi Longstocking... I dunno.

Since I last wrote not much has happened. I basically just work a LOT!

If anyone is free in November I'm performing at Diesel Playhouse Saturday Nov. 8th @ 7pm, and I'll also be at the Rivoli Nov. 10th show @ 9p! I was playing with my leg hair one night thinking how single I am, and BA-BAM a whole set came out of stroking my calf hair and watching season one of Sex & The City! You never know when the magic happens!

Anywho, hope everyone has a safe and fun Hallowe'en and I'd hate to leak this, but stay tuned for a VERY important announcement!

 Cheers~

SP

Well it has been one craaazy week!! It all started off so well.  We had an amazing shoot with Ange and Paxton from iYellow Wine Club where we got to taste a bunch of fantastic (and quite yummy) white and red wines!  On top of that we also got to sample a great selection of gourmet foods that the chef prepared just for us!  Could I ask for a better shoot?? No, I couldn't! hahaha.  Sadly though after the shoot is where my week took a turn for the worse.  Right after our shoot my car started acting up (and of course it had to be pouring rain) and my engine light came on and by 8am the next morning I was calling good ol' CAA to come tow my car up to my parents' mechanic up in Lindsay!

My car ended up not costing as much as I was expecting but it was still $450 ($449 more then I have to spend on cars)!  The only silver lining to my car drama was I got to boot around the city for a couple days in a cute little rental car that was much more fun to drive then my own car!

Other then the car situation my week was filled with working and different modelling shoots, one of which was another Borba (see this week's bathroom episosde...beauty faves 2) shoot!! I love when I book those jobs because Scott Vincent Borba is sooo generous and hooked me up with a TON of product!! YAY!!  That stuff is so good for your skin and it makes it feel incredibly soft!

So now my week is winding down and I have to start gearing up for Halloween weekend at the bar.  The silver lining of that is that at least I work with Sabrina who is the world's 2nd most eager person (behind Stacey P) when it comes to dressing up in costumes! LOL!  So it should be a fun 2 days!  Does anyone know yet what they are going to be for Halloween??  I am going to dress up as the comic book character 'the Phoenix'!!  I think this is hilarious since the bar Sab and I work at is called The Phoenix!! hahahhaha....so whenever someone asks me what I am (while I am working at the phoenix) I get to say I am the Phoenix!  is that funny or what?!?!  I hope I am not the only one who finds this absolutely hilarious...I gues we will see!

 Have a great Halloween everyone!

 peace

Dear Diary....

Hello again everyone!  I hope that you are well and enjoyed those last few days of warmth before we are imprisoned for seven months in dark and cold (not bitter that summer is over, I swear!).  It’s been a rollercoaster few weeks as I try to complete all of those tasks that I’ve been putting off for months.  Included in that was to nail down a school plan for next September, find a family doctor and go for my first massage.  I don’t know why I was putting off the last one but I finally put my foot down and made time for some relaxing me time.  It was definitely worth it and I’m going to try and incorporate massage more into health regime.  I was always under the impression that it had to be “no pain, no gain” but I’m just starting to realize that you can be a much more balanced and healthy individual if you make time to truly relax.
After this month, I’m going on a countdown to Christmas and I’m really going to try and avoid that last minute panic to get everything down in less than a week.  I’ve never really been a huge fan of Christmas and I think that the stress of the holiday is my number one beef.  I don’t want to admit it, but every year that I get older, I get eerily more like my mother (Ahhh!) and it’s not long until I start buying cards and Christmas decorations in July.  Just thinking that makes me want to start drinking!
Other than that, I guess the really big theme in my life right now is to try and curb my procrastination from which I have suffered with for years.  I’m still not quite sure how I’m going to accomplish this.  Some people suggest Life Coaches to help sort out your priorities but I’m not sure if I’m sold on the whole idea of having someone else run my life.  Being a severe procrastinator is like living with a million bad habits and if the sheer stress of it doesn’t kill you, you end up getting nothing accomplished.  I’m sure lots of people out there deal with this but I’m stuck for ideas on how to improve my situation.  Maybe I can pay to have someone beat it out of me, ha ha.  What do you guys think?  What kinds of things did you do to break bad habits?
I’m really starting to enjoy this blogs because it’s starting to force myself to step back and take an objective look at my life.  I get so carried away with all the things I’m doing that sometimes I forget to question what it is I’m doing and what’s working and what needs work.  And just knowing that other people might be facing the same things that I’m going through is really comforting because it starts to put life in perspective.  Hopefully you guys have some ideas on how to get rid of bad habits in your life and are kind enough to share them with me and everyone else on www.twentysomethingtv.com.  Check out the forums and share your two cents.  Until next time, I wish everyone good health.  Take care!!

Dear Diary,

E-mail

Ughhh the weather is getting so cold again! I find this time of the year so depressing because it makes me miss summer so much. Usually it gives me a great excuse to go shopping and spoil myself rotten on cozy sweaters and boots – but this year, my priorities are a little different. In some weird coincidence, every single one of my best friends got engaged at the exact same time (and they aren’t friends with each other which is so strange!!) – so I am a bridesmaid in 5 weddings this year. I am really starting to feel like Katherine Heigl!!

Now, how is one supposed to go about affording this? Does anyone have any tips on how I can possibly stay “okay” in the financial department while saving up for 5 weddings?? Its sooooo hard!!! Don’t get me wrong – I am so thrilled that my friends asked me, and I am more then excited for them. But, it’s definitely hard to afford being a bridesmaid now a days. You have to figure that between the dress, the stagette, the showers and the actual wedding, you are going to end up spending about $1000 - $1500 per wedding. You do the math. And then of course there are the weddings that I am a guest at.

One stagette is in new york and one is in Vegas. Which right there if I go, I could save a ton of cash!! But if all of my friends are getting hitched, then this most likely is the last time we will all get the chance to go and party together in a different city like we did in university. So, I guess some things are worth going in debt for?? LOL – cause that’s straight where I am heading!!! That’s right – the most financially responsible, and im heading for the big MINUS….yikes!!! I love my friends…I really do!!

Love,
Katie
