I guess the major problem with the word love is that it’s almost impossible to define the word. So therefore its hard for the person to hear the phrase “I love you” without wondering what context it’s being used in. It’d almost be better to come up with a phrase for every possible scenario.
an “I ____ you” for friends
An “I ____you” for family
An “I____ you” as a thank you.
An “I____ you” for someone you want to screw,
and then finally leave the word love for someone who you truly do love…
