Unfortunatly SUVs are a bad choice for so many reasons, which u touched on some like gas milage, but you’d be much safer in something like an Subaru then u would in your jeep.
Im deffinatly not going to get overly technical, but buying a new car takes lots of homework. My first car was a Kia Rio. Cheap, small, and WARRENTY! so compare the class of vehicle u want to others and not just the spec sheets from the websites. test dive them, ask freinds, look at service bullitins and consider insurance.
In my case i went for a cheap car that would last me 5years untill im in a position to buy a family car. So Kia was a No-brainer..5 yr hassle free warrenty. Sure its a little bit tight to get intimate with a loved one, but thats when take the money u saved on the car and get a hotel room…
