Watch out boys! The day is creeping up on you and before you know it good ol’ Valentine’s Day will be here! Yippeeeee!
And rest assured EVERY girl out there in a relationship is fully aware that the big day is less then a week away.

But what about those of you who are romantically challenged?  Relax. This week’s episode has lots of tips for those of you who can’t think of the perfect gift. Or…any gift.

Alright, first of all to take a little pressure off you all, lets assume that your partner is with you because they appreciates you and care about you and will be happy with any sort of effort on your part.

Now I know most people aren’t the biggest fans of V. D. because they feel it’s extremely commercialized, which is true. But the reality is any girl in a relationship, even the girls who aren’t hopeless romantics, enjoy little sweet nothings and romantic gestures. Trust me! But yes…it’s pricey.

So what can you do if you’re a little tight in the wallet? Good news boys! You can score BONUS points for using less dollars and more imagination. Why not cook her favourite meal, grab a good bottle of wine, and burn a CD (the re-vamped mix tape!) with her favourite music? It’s sweet and thoughtful and it won’t cost you too much.  Or a homemade coupon book is always a great option.  The catch is you have to make it yourself, but don’t worry if you aren’t a big crafty person. The cheesier and more kindergarten it looks the better in my opinion.  Remember though that this is a present for her and not you! No girl wants to open up her gift that says “Guess what honey? You get to give me a hummer!”.

And then you could always go old school with the typical flowers and candy. But why not revamp the candy and roses and go for a cookie-gram? It’s a bouquet of gourmet cookies and lets face it…is there really anything better?  Finally if your girl is totally sold on getting flowers why not be creative and ditch the typical roses and go with something original like lilies or orchids or a bouquet of wild flowers. It will show you were thinking outside of the box.

Ahhh Valentines Day. 24 hours of non-stop romance to make your girl happy. But girls, remember this is an equal opportunity day, so don’t forget to make HIS day special too!
